Welcome to Happy Space®
I believe that everyone deserves a chance to make their richest contributions. Unfortunately, our modern work culture can often invite workers, especially from marginalized groups, to burn out or opt out...neither of which option feels just.
Happy Space is where inclusion is looked at as a design opportunity. Even if we want to be inclusive, we are likely not getting everything right. If we can design inclusive performance, we'll spark the reciprocity of giving and receiving, leading to fulfilling lives for all involved.
Inclusivity must expand to address the neurodivergent mind, invisible disabilities, sensitivity, temperament, and caregiving responsibilities.

The Happy Space Pod has been a safe online space for like-minded sensitive creators since the start of the Happy Space Podcast in 2022. You're welcome to join us here. You might be a designer, architect, urban planner, customer or employee experience designer, or leader in the workplace or in the home. We all have an opportunity to increase "neurological safety" in our spaces, cultures, and experiences. I hope you'll join me in conversation and exploration of the myriad ways in which can invite a more hospitable world.
