Rituals - Happy Habits for Time & Task Mastery Group Coaching2

If you've been wanting to feel more in control of your day, this is an opportunity you won't want to miss. I'm happy to bring back the Rituals Group Coaching program again in July.

Clients reach out to me for help in both getting things done and feeling better about it with the ultimate goal of achieving sustainable performance. Sustainability is key, right? I’m not talking about a sprint to the finish approach. This is about defining the practices you can count on, which will work for you, to preserve your energy and bolster your spirit while accomplishing what’s important.

If this sounds like you, let me just start by saying, needing help in this area doesn't mean you've been doing anything wrong. Let’s park any feeling of guilt, shame, and not doing enough right here. We were never truly taught these skills. Our education system still has not embedded time management skills in its basic curriculum. (It’s barely getting teaching telling the time right these days which is a whole other challenge.) On top of that, we live in a "Culture of Interruption" and one that celebrates "busy" and "on-call" as a way of life.

If you grew up with role models and/or a huge amount of intrinsic motivation to figure things out, then you have likely been able to create systems and practices that work for you. I’m sure you have some, so do celebrate what’s working.

But, you’re here because something just isn’t right. And, you're not alone.

Common challenges

Here are some common challenges I see every week.

  • not sure if you're working on the right things
  • working longer hours than you want to, spending longer on projects than you think they need to take, or spending time looking for buried information
  • feeling the stress from juggling too many balls, or worse, dropping them
  • putting things off and hearing the voice in your head beat yourself up for doing so
  • trying hard to get a piece of work just right and not getting it done at all
  • forgetting appointments with others
  • feeling overwhelmed with the choice of tools available so not choosing any

Does any of this sound familiar? Well, don't worry, you're in the right place!

What you'll learn

In this group coaching program, you will learn how to:

  • keep track of tasks
  • decide which task is most important to attend to
  • relate tasks to your available time
  • understand and park procrastination or accept it as a helpful tool (say what?)
  • challenge perfectionism
  • figure out what to delegate and to whom
  • choose tools that work for you
  • keep your workspace productive

To position this within the context of the Productivity CPR™ framework, the holistic model I developed to deliver sustainable performance, we are talking about the R, “Rituals”. These are the practices you will choose to undertake because they honor both your intentions (C - Compass) and your ability to manage your attention (P - Performance). Group coaching will be available for those elements as well, but because many clients start with questions about execution challenges, I’ve created the first group program to address these pressing questions. Don't miss the opportunity to join this first Beta group! It comes with significant advantages and discounts.

Course details

In each of five weeks, you'll receive:

  • a weekly workbook – PDF – approx. 15 min reading + 45 minutes thinking
  • weekly teaching – approx. 15 min review of workbook concepts
  • weekly group coaching – 60 min - includes individual coaching

I'm also offering an individual 30-minute session to be scheduled at a mutually convenient time after the five weeks.

To recap, you'll want to set aside about 2 hours per week for the workbook, teaching, and coaching. Additional time to ponder the concepts and enjoy some self-reflection would be time well spent. This is totally up to you.

Hi! I'm Clare and would love to be your productivity coach...

Clare with the hosts of the show The Social
Clare with the dynamic hosts of "The Social"

You may know me as a productivity coach and before that as a professional organizer having regularly contributed to international media over the past eleven years. Not only have I shared my strategies and practices for organization and productivity, but I've also been able to share my passion for seeing others successfully integrate work and life.

You may not know that prior to establishing my own business I spent over 15 years in the corporate world in a variety of areas including marketing, finance, sales, product development, and internal communications. I've worked in different cultures (Toronto, Tokyo, and Montreal) and different kinds of workspaces.

A thread throughout my career has been respecting humanity in the workplace. There is no greater need for it than right now.

My clients are generally high achievers. They are accomplished and have a lot to offer. They often say yes and can be counted on to get things done...but not without it taking a toll. Sometimes it's their health or relationships that suffer. Sometimes they forget how to have fun and enjoy this ride.

One of the hardest things to do is set boundaries at work. Once you're clear on your ability to make the most of your time and apply your attention effectively, you will feel more confident expressing any concerns you have about capacity. This leads to right-sizing work commitments and avoids burnout and its serious consequences.

My mission is to teach and empower people to sculpt fulfilling lives full of rich personal and professional accomplishments. You can read more about client results here.

Why facts and a coach approach?

Facts will help you learn what you need to know. The coaching questions embedded in the course will help you take specific actions that will work for you. Coaching invites shifts in thinking that have a big impact not only on performance but also on well-being. You might have been trying to do this on your own but it hasn't worked so far. Not only is that you don't know what you don't know, but solo learning can also be lonely. I can promise you working with others is a lot more fun.

Have more questions?

Feel free to send me an email with your questions right away.

I would love you to join the group and start building your lifetime of sustainable performance.

how should a leader behave? and how does this rela how should a leader behave? and how does this relate to pie?

Leadership Coach, @shedinspires , explains it best:

🥧 I think the biggest thing with leadership is there's no such thing as a perfect leader. there's no such thing as a perfect human. I think we can take a slice of many people's pies, to figure out what's our way. I don't think there's right and wrong. I think there's our way.

🏆 I think every leader, of which everyone can choose to be a leader because it's a behaviour set, we can figure out what are our values, what do I care about, and how do I behave in a way that is aligned with that, which is authenticity, and when you find people who believe what you believe and you behave in that way, you get a following. you're a leader.

It should just happen. that's the sign of a healthy speak-up culture is, it isn't a big deal. it's just what we do around here.”

🎙this powerful statement is from Leadership Coach, @shedinspires, in our conversation on the latest episode of the “Happy Space Podcast”.

🎙Director of Nook®, David O’Coimin explains 🎙Director of Nook®, David O’Coimin explains some of the ways a Nook Pod improves the soundscape in our conversation in episode 7 of the “Happy Space Podcast”.

📣 Nook has a scientifically different sound pressure inside than it does outside. we focus a lot on removing high-frequency noise. we focus a lot on creating a sort of low-frequency hum within the space, almost audible.

😮 you put your head inside and you can see people go, “okay, how is that happening? I'm in one now, which has a door on, which is the solo booth.” and it's the only one we put a door on. the rest of the products are all open for the reason of inclusivity and feeling connected to the environment.

⛑ so when there's no door and it sounds different inside, people can be startled and quite taken aback by that. but after that first, sort of shock what you get is this, you see this relaxing that occurs, this calm that almost washes over people. so that calm is an important first element of the product.

where could you use a Nook® in your workplace?

how can we be neuroinclusive? Strategy Lead for G how can we be neuroinclusive?

Strategy Lead for Google Global Events, Megan Henshall, talks about designing with neuroinclusion in mind:

🧠 neuro-inclusion needs to be a main ingredient in your experience design recipe because there are a lot of people that are coming to events who are suffering in silence or not coming at all.

🔀 there's a statistic from an organization called EventWell, and 85% of the neurodivergent people that they interviewed have not attended an event because they thought it would be triggering or overwhelming for them, but that's sad. they have every right to be there.

have you ever opted out of an event because it felt unwelcoming?
