Rituals - Happy Habits for Time & Task Mastery Group Coaching2

If you've been wanting to feel more in control of your day, this is an opportunity you won't want to miss. I'm happy to bring back the Rituals Group Coaching program again in July.

Clients reach out to me for help in both getting things done and feeling better about it with the ultimate goal of achieving sustainable performance. Sustainability is key, right? I’m not talking about a sprint to the finish approach. This is about defining the practices you can count on, which will work for you, to preserve your energy and bolster your spirit while accomplishing what’s important.

If this sounds like you, let me just start by saying, needing help in this area doesn't mean you've been doing anything wrong. Let’s park any feeling of guilt, shame, and not doing enough right here. We were never truly taught these skills. Our education system still has not embedded time management skills in its basic curriculum. (It’s barely getting teaching telling the time right these days which is a whole other challenge.) On top of that, we live in a "Culture of Interruption" and one that celebrates "busy" and "on-call" as a way of life.

If you grew up with role models and/or a huge amount of intrinsic motivation to figure things out, then you have likely been able to create systems and practices that work for you. I’m sure you have some, so do celebrate what’s working.

But, you’re here because something just isn’t right. And, you're not alone.

Common challenges

Here are some common challenges I see every week.

  • not sure if you're working on the right things
  • working longer hours than you want to, spending longer on projects than you think they need to take, or spending time looking for buried information
  • feeling the stress from juggling too many balls, or worse, dropping them
  • putting things off and hearing the voice in your head beat yourself up for doing so
  • trying hard to get a piece of work just right and not getting it done at all
  • forgetting appointments with others
  • feeling overwhelmed with the choice of tools available so not choosing any

Does any of this sound familiar? Well, don't worry, you're in the right place!

What you'll learn

In this group coaching program, you will learn how to:

  • keep track of tasks
  • decide which task is most important to attend to
  • relate tasks to your available time
  • understand and park procrastination or accept it as a helpful tool (say what?)
  • challenge perfectionism
  • figure out what to delegate and to whom
  • choose tools that work for you
  • keep your workspace productive

To position this within the context of the Productivity CPR™ framework, the holistic model I developed to deliver sustainable performance, we are talking about the R, “Rituals”. These are the practices you will choose to undertake because they honor both your intentions (C - Compass) and your ability to manage your attention (P - Performance). Group coaching will be available for those elements as well, but because many clients start with questions about execution challenges, I’ve created the first group program to address these pressing questions. Don't miss the opportunity to join this first Beta group! It comes with significant advantages and discounts.

Course details

In each of five weeks, you'll receive:

  • a weekly workbook – PDF – approx. 15 min reading + 45 minutes thinking
  • weekly teaching – approx. 15 min review of workbook concepts
  • weekly group coaching – 60 min - includes individual coaching

I'm also offering an individual 30-minute session to be scheduled at a mutually convenient time after the five weeks.

To recap, you'll want to set aside about 2 hours per week for the workbook, teaching, and coaching. Additional time to ponder the concepts and enjoy some self-reflection would be time well spent. This is totally up to you.

Hi! I'm Clare and would love to be your productivity coach...

Clare with the hosts of the show The Social
Clare with the dynamic hosts of "The Social"

You may know me as a productivity coach and before that as a professional organizer having regularly contributed to international media over the past eleven years. Not only have I shared my strategies and practices for organization and productivity, but I've also been able to share my passion for seeing others successfully integrate work and life.

You may not know that prior to establishing my own business I spent over 15 years in the corporate world in a variety of areas including marketing, finance, sales, product development, and internal communications. I've worked in different cultures (Toronto, Tokyo, and Montreal) and different kinds of workspaces.

A thread throughout my career has been respecting humanity in the workplace. There is no greater need for it than right now.

My clients are generally high achievers. They are accomplished and have a lot to offer. They often say yes and can be counted on to get things done...but not without it taking a toll. Sometimes it's their health or relationships that suffer. Sometimes they forget how to have fun and enjoy this ride.

One of the hardest things to do is set boundaries at work. Once you're clear on your ability to make the most of your time and apply your attention effectively, you will feel more confident expressing any concerns you have about capacity. This leads to right-sizing work commitments and avoids burnout and its serious consequences.

My mission is to teach and empower people to sculpt fulfilling lives full of rich personal and professional accomplishments. You can read more about client results here.

Why facts and a coach approach?

Facts will help you learn what you need to know. The coaching questions embedded in the course will help you take specific actions that will work for you. Coaching invites shifts in thinking that have a big impact not only on performance but also on well-being. You might have been trying to do this on your own but it hasn't worked so far. Not only is that you don't know what you don't know, but solo learning can also be lonely. I can promise you working with others is a lot more fun.

Have more questions?

Feel free to send me an email with your questions right away.

I would love you to join the group and start building your lifetime of sustainable performance.

How to Work with Highly Sensitive People

The ABCs of Behavior Change (TM) – for habits that stick

it has been a tough day. i’m not good with noise it has been a tough day. i’m not good with noise stress. we have danced in the past and i don’t like how it not just steps on my toes, it crushes them.

doing my best to navigate obscene noise from the construction below. a “multi-hundred thousand dollar” renovation joining two units together.

tied to good ergonomics and two screens for the work i had to complete this afternoon, i have learned my bose quiet comfort headphones are no match for concrete cutting.

just as silence once again returned here is when i learned elliot peed on the guest bed. luckily, i anticipated this and the bed was covered in a plastic sheet. phew!

just got back from dropping my Love at work after he got a flat tire on the way.

all this, and i am sticking to my all-healthy food and drink plan for the next six weeks.

but know i am imagining the biggest bag of sour cream and onion potato chips right now. and i’m not sharing.

I made so many mistakes. Mistakes I realized later I made so many mistakes. Mistakes I realized later that parts of me knew were going to be so.

I dismissed numerous signs and kept my brain in charge. Poor relationships - both business and personal ensued.

Now, I do my best to TUNE IN to my intuition.

Intuition expert Sunil Godse @intuitivebranding101 helped further expand my thinking around the topic and shared illuminating examples of others who have come to believe in its power.

As a highly sensitive person who can tend to overthink, committing to being still and listening has helped immensely.

Tell me, do you listen to your intuition?

You're blessed with superb filters and have no trouble handling a chaotic environment. Not a lot bothers you. HSPs dream of feeling like this!

You believe “done is better than perfect”. With your focused action, there’s a chance you can be perceived as being a bit of a bull in a china shop. You may quickly jump to conclusions and be too casual with others’ feelings.

You may benefit from taking more time to assess a situation before taking action, something that comes naturally to HSPs.

Engaging with HSPs may invite you to notice nuances in a situation that can help smooth your journey.

With about 20% of people being highly sensitive, it makes good sense to learn more about the trait.

You’re invited to join the Happy Space Pod Online Community, a positive place for HSPs and also for non-HSPs like you who want to better understand and more fully support the valuable HSPs in their lives.

You notice a mix of emotions each day, in yourself and others. Sometimes this is easy to accommodate. Other times, it can be overwhelming.

You are sometimes bothered by disorganization and chaos around you and notice what could be improved.

Other times, you miss nuance and subtleties that can better guide your actions. You can be creative in the right environment.

You are sometimes able to reprioritize efficiently when necessary. Other times, you might find yourself needing to think deeply before making a decision.

With 1 in 5 people having the trait of high sensitivity, it is quite possible that you are one of them.

If you shared your email address with us, you should have already received an email with your custom results and more detailed information.

Meanwhile, I invite you to explore the trait of high sensitivity by joining the Happy Space Pod Online Community, a positive place for HSPs and also for non-HSPs who want to better understand and more fully support the valuable HSPs in their lives.

I hope to see you there.

Hello, fellow HSP!

You believe perfect is worth striving for and you are proud of your conscientiousness. Being so thoughtful with your work often leaves you frustrated at just how long it takes to get something done.

Your ability to notice what’s going on around you provides helpful cues which guide your path forward. While blurting out what’s on your mind has sometimes ruffled feathers, you are generally perceived as a thoughtful team player who cares for others.

You will benefit greatly from setting boundaries, improving self-regulation,  and self-advocating to preserve your energy.

Join the supportive Happy Space Pod Online Community for more strategies that will help you thrive as an HSP.
