FLOWJOB – THE PLEASURE SEEKER’S PATH TO PRODUCTIVITY AND PERFORMANCE
So, "flowjob"…caught your attention? That’s what I was hoping for. That's productivity.
Now, stop giggling. No….please don’t stop giggling! That’s pleasure.
But what’s most important is that this book will deliver on its promise of driving sustainable performance.
Most of us are only motivated to do things that we really want to do, right? So, it’s time there’s a book that talks about how to get in touch with marrying productivity and pleasure, in other words, to encourage having fun while getting things done.
Pleasure and productivity can go together. In fact, they ought to go together. If you read this book, they will go together.
Within its pages, you’ll find examples of people who are living fulfilling lives not only because they’re accomplishing what they want to be successful, (yes, I believe it's a very personal concept to define) but because they’re also taking immense joy in the ride. You’ll discover best practices and be encouraged to find what works for you.
This book is meant to inspire professionals, entrepreneurs, new leaders, and veteran team builders, as well as and moms and dads at home, to sculpt life in a way that they and their families will be proud of.
We’ll explore setting intentions, managing attention and finish with excellent execution.
So, what are you waiting for? I am researching and writing the book now. Be one of the first to know when you can get your own flowjob!
THE LIFETIME MANAGEMENT™ PLAYBOOK
I’ve presented the LifeTime Management model and exercises in numerous workshops, and after many requests decided to craft this Playbook for you, so you can work through the exercises on your own.
Why LifeTime Management? A lot of attention is spent on thinking about how to manage time by crafting our days and weeks, yet big picture planning of our lives is often overlooked. In fact, we spend a good chunk of our lives responding.
Why a Playbook? Sorry, it's not based on football, though it will give you useful strategies. I just thought it sounded more fun that a Workbook. It does, doesn’t it? And if you’re investing in yourself, that ought to feel good. It's not always quick and easy, but anything that's worthwhile takes a committment of your time, thought and energy.
This book will prompt you to articulate your valued states, the way you want to be. These valued states will then be used to help you prioritize your actions in key areas of life.
Forget the concept of balance, which may exist for a fleeting second, and aim for the successful integration of work and life.
Work is such a big part of life, and the boundaries are blurrier than ever. It’s now more important than ever to personally define success, and then choose a path to achieve it. This will involve a lot of yes’s, and importantly some clear no’s. By articulating what’s important to you, it will be easier than ever to sculpt a life of immense pride.
Complete the Playbook in a few hours. Repeat Quarterly. Stay in the driver’s seat of your life.
Productivity Boosting Products
I have a sit-stand desk, and even with the ability to stand whenever I feel like it, I prefer to sit the majority of the time. So, having a supportive chair is absolutely critical. I’ve lived with the "active sitting" Core Chair since the spring of 2018 and find it extremely comfortable. In fact, I’m afraid to say it has actually ruined all other chairs for me!
Inspired by sitting on a yoga ball, the Core Chair is unique in its pivoting, aggressively sculpted seat pan which sets your pelvis at the right angle. This, along with the lumbar support positions your spine and neck for ultimate comfort. The seat rigidity can be set so that it moves to your comfort level, promoting hydration of your spine during the day and more blood flow to the brain.
I’ve lived with orthotics for pronation since I figured it was a problem at age 26. The orthotic corrects the pitch of my foot, which affects my ankle, which affects the knee joint and of course, hips.
It’s not particularly fine marketing copy, but I refer to this chair affectionately as an orthotic for your ass. Once you feel its effects, you won’t want to live with out it. I'm sure that's why Core Chair provides 60 days to try the product.

Yes, it looks goofy, but wait, it’s worth it! I was originally interested in this night cap for an overnight flight to Europe but then realized I needed it in my bedroom. I don’t have blackout blinds which is fine for most of the year, but in June and July, I really didn’t enjoy waking at 5:30 am so tried sleeping with Nitehood.
And it works! Comfortable to sleep in. My head didn’t get hot because of the breathable fabric, and even better, my bedhead was better than normal!
If you need to darken your environment, I encourage you to give this a try. I bought the adjustable model so that if I wanted to share it with someone else I could.
I love that it’s designed, knit and sewn in my home town of Toronto, Canada.
